The Digital Forensic Center team shares the concerns of individual participants of the BIRN conference and the Montenegrin public about the results and classification of Montenegrin civil activists and journalists in the group of extremist organizations within the BIRN research Far-Right Extremism in the Balkans: Groups, Trends and Political Support’.
The methodology of conducting the research concerning Montenegro is of particular concern, since it is based on free assessment, that is, public perception, rather than facts and official data, which further opens up space for targeting individuals and replacing theses. We hope that there is space and will for an argumentative and fact-based review of the findings of this important document and research in order to build a stable and healthy society.
